Erica Synths Pico EF and Pico VCA2 extends their compact range
Introducing the Pico EF Envelope Follower and preamp and the Pico VCA2 two-channel voltage-controlled amplifier.
Pico EF
No mess, no fuss, put in an audio signal and out comes a voltage following the volume envelope of the sound plus a Gate every time the level crosses a threshold. The threshold can be set with a knob along with the gain for the input which can provide up to +40dB which is plenty for guitar or a dynamic microphone. There’s an output for that as well and the possibility of a bit of overdrive. You also have an adjustable attack time to better match the feel of the input.

Pico VCA2
Not terribly exciting but certainly useful the new VCA2 squeezes in 2 channels of voltage-controlled amplification with a bit of manual bias on the top VCA. The inputs are normalled to the second VCA so you could use it as a splitter. It’s DC coupled so will take audio or CV. Just what you need in a little system.
The Pico EF and Pico VCA2 are available now and priced at €95 and €85 respectively.
