Ernie Ball Music Man St. Vincent 2018: Disruption by Design
Check out the film made by Ernie Ball and Annie Clark below
The new St. Vincent Signature 2018 guitars were designed for Annie Clark, who already worked with Music Man on the first generation of signature guitars bearing the St Vincent name. Apparently, she has had a lot of input on their design, and the company has now made a short film to celebrate this new series.

So what’s new? The St. Vincent 2018 models come with premium roasted maple necks with either rosewood, ebony or maple fretboards. Two different pickup configurations are available, including three Dimarzio mini-humbuckers or the newly designed Ernie Ball Music Man dual humbucking pickups. Each version comes with a 5-way pickup selector to control the pickup selection.
Each model is available in either Charcoal Sparkle, Blue Dawn, Sea Breeze, Tobacco Burst, Polaris White, Stealth Black and St. Vincent Blue which is new colour hand-mixed by Clark herself.
Disruption by Design
Ernie Ball Music Man and Annie Clark collaborated on a special short film titled “Disruption By Design” that includes never-before-seen footage from St. Vincent’s recent Coachella rehearsal sessions. Other sections show her private home studio and give some background on Masseduction, her latest album.
I’ve added the film below so if you have a spare 8 minutes, check it out.
RRP – From USD 2,199.00

Would be interested to see how well these sell. They look very feminine, and I doubt they appeal to most males. It seems the refresh with the darker colors is an attempt to make them more ‘male’ friendly.
