If you like Metallica, then you will be more than aware of the James Hetfield Snakebyte signature models. For 2022, ESP is offering the model in a Camo finish. Available in both LTD and ESP Custom Shop versions, this guitar certainly stands out from the crowd, so the camouflage fails on one level. However, it was never really made to blend in and, in fact, it stands out beautifully. I think it looks great.

Hunting inspired
Hetfield is into hunting for sport. So this new camouflage finish was inspired by Hetfield’s favourite high-performance hunting gear manufacturer KUIU.

Specifications
It has a solid mahogany body, a thin U-profile mahogany set neck, and an ebony fingerboard fitted with 22 extra-jumbo frets. It comes loaded with a set of Hetfield’s signature EMG active humbuckers, and has a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, plus a set of Sperzel locking tuners on the ESP version. These models are due out in May and come in a matching KUIU Camo finished hard case
ESP has43 new models coming out during Phase 1, so it should be a busy year for the brand.
