Eventide Omnipressor Reissue 2830*Au: Now available for order!
The Omnipressor Reissue is now available!
The Eventide Omnipressor Reissue 2830*Au is a newly reimagined version of a classic studio dynamics processor, now available for order.
Like the original, the 2830*Au combines compression, limiting, expansion, and gating, into one dynamics processor capable of creating unique effects while sounding great with top-grade transformer inputs and outputs.

Historically, Eventide was always an innovator when it came to effects, and the design of the Omnipressor was no different, with some wild additions like infinite compression and dynamic reversal.
As a feature, dynamic reversal shifts the opposing loud and soft parts of a signal around completely, while infinite compression reduces the entire signal to the same level.
Like the original, the Function control selects the operating mode you’re working in, and it now has extra controls like Atten Limit and Gain Limit. The 2830*Au is also stereo-linkable, so you can sync 2 units or run them in dual-mono for creative effects.
On the left of the front panel, you’ll find controls for the threshold, attack (1 ms to 100 ms), and release (1 ms to 1 s). Also, there is the input gain and mix amount, so you can dial in parallel processing if you wish.
In addition, there are switches for bypass, bass cut, and activating the sidechain. Meanwhile, there is also a switch to change the VU meter modes from input, gain, and output.
