The EVH Frankenstein Relic model, launched in September 2023, has just added three new limited-run colourways for 2024.
EVH Frankenstein Relic Limited Run
These latest limited-run additions to the EVH Frankenstein Relic lineup – Vintage Sunburst, Blueburst, and Silverburst, add three new colours to the stripped-back SuperStrat concept.
Floyd Rose
The Frankenstein Relic Series offers a basic utilitarian Floyd Rose-equipped SuperStrat with a worn-in relic finish, which emulates Eddie Van Halen’s original striped guitar. He built the guitar from parts and modified it over many years.
Since last year, They have been available in Red, White, and Black solid colours.
Specifications
The specifications for these new limited-run models remain the same: a basswood body with a worn-in relic finish, a maple neck, and a high-output Wolfgang bridge humbucker. They also have a Floyd Rose locking tremolo system with a brass block.
They are officially priced at USD $1549 each, so they are the same price as the standard colours. If you want an EVH-style SuperStrat but fancy something a little different finish-wise, then they could be perfect for you.

is the pickup selector in the routing of the middle pickup? do i have to remove the strings to use it? lol
The single coil pickup is a dummy.
Only one working pickup so no selector switch.
