Fender Japan Hybrid II 2024: Unleash a Rainbow of Tone
These new Fender Japan Hybrid II 2024 models are the latest releases to get an array of fabulous new finishes. The Twilight and Sunset Orange Transparent are the latest additions to the range.
Fender Japan Hybrid II
Fender Japan undoubtedly gets the most exciting new releases in the company’s catalogue. These new Twilight and Sunset Orange Transparent Hybrid II models have stunning finishes that will turn heads.
Twilight
The 2024 Collection, Made in Japan Hybrid II Telecaster, is a highlight in the new range launched earlier this year. On the guitar’s lower bout, a deep purple/blue fade into pinks, oranges, and finally yellow, which I think looks very effective.
This range offers vintage looks while incorporating modern specs. It uses the Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickups mounted to an alder body. This model has a maple satin-finished neck with a modern C-shaped 9.5-inch radius rosewood fretboard with 22 narrow-tall frets.
The hardware includes a vintage-style slanted brass saddle bridge and a set of vintage locking tuners. It is also available in Red Beryl, Larimar, Aquamarine, Celeste Blue, and Sunset Orange Transparent finishes.
MSRP – YEN 150,700
Sunset Orange Transparent
This Sunset Orange Transparent Hybrid II Jazzmaster has a gorgeous quilted maple top. Underneath the burst finish is an alder body, just like the Telecaster above.
Offset Maple
There aren’t as many maple fretboards with offset guitars like the Jazzmaster, so this modern C-shaped 9.5-inch radius one is a real treat. Again, it comes with 22 narrow-tall frets, so it should be a smooth playing experience.
The vintage-style floating tremolo paired with vintage-style locking tuners is as expected, and again, this model uses Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazzmaster pickups. There is also a Celeste Blue again with a maple fretboard, and Aquamarine and Red Beryl with rosewood fretboards launched earlier this year.
MSRP – 170,500
Hybrid II
These great new colours will be around during 2024, so if you hunt hard enough, you may find one in the wild. However, they are intended for the Japanese market.
