Fender Japan Limited Sakura Telecaster: Cherry Blossoms!
Fender Japan celebrates the arrival of spring with a new collection: The Limited Sakura Telecaster series, featuring three aesthetic beauties, is a work of art that embodies the beauty of the Japanese spring season. It is available only in Japan, exclusively at the Fender Flagship Tokyo and the official Fender Japan online store.
Sakura Telecaster
The Made in Japan Limited Sakura Telecaster looks spectacular in its three finishes. The guitars are truly eye-catching. The different blossoms symbolize spring in Japan and convey a sense of renewal and beauty.
Cherry Blossom
Each of the three models in this series has a unique design, each with a specific name referring to the cherry blossom. The three design choices are: Hatsu-Zakura, Oun, and Ouka-Ranman.
All models feature a see-through pickguard displaying delicate cherry blossom patterns across the guitar’s top. The back and sides of the body are made of alder and finished in an elegant, transparent white with a satin finish, further showcasing the beauty of the wood and the design.
The maple neck, with a rosewood fretboard, features a 9.5-inch radius, narrow frets, and a satin-finished U-shaped neck profile.
Price and availability
The price for each of the three models in the Limited Sakura Telecaster series is 198,000 yen (approximately $1,336.76). They are available for a limited time from Fender Japan’s online store and the Fender Flagship Tokyo store.
I suspect that a handful will make it out of Japan via specific dealer channels, but other than that, I doubt you will see many of these outside of the Japanese market—one for collectors and some great designs across all three models.
