Fender Limited Edition Mikey Way Jazz Bass
My Chemical Romance bassist gets new signature Jazz Bass
This new Fender Limited Edition Mikey Way Jazz Bass comes in a sweet Silver Sparkle finish that will make you look like a rockstar or maybe a member of a ’70s Glam covers band. Either way, it is a cool-looking Jazz Bass and will look great under stage lighting.
Limited Edition Mikey Way Jazz Bass
The My Chemical Romance’s bassist Mikey Way has had a signature Mustang silver bass before, this time the new Fender Limited Edition Mikey Way Jazz Bass looks even sweeter than the last one.
Silver Glam
It is based around an alder body in that eye-catching Silver Sparkle finish and has the 70s C-shaped maple neck with black block inlays, matching black binding and 20 medium jumbo frets. I also like the gloss black painted headstock on this model as well, as it suits the matching black pickguard nicely.
’70s Style
Other key features include the vintage-style 4-saddle bridge, a set of ’70s style “Fender” stamped tuners, the Bullet-style truss rod nut and Mikey’s signature on the back of the headstock.
This model is powered by a set of Fender Vintage-Style ’70s Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups which should be perfect for the job at hand. These are wired via Volume 1. (Neck), Volume 2. (Bridge), and a single master Tone control.
Overall, it is a great-looking Jazz Bass and not just for fans of My Chemical Romance.
Limited Edition
It is a limited edition and so it will not be around forever, but I’m sure if you move soon that you will be able to pick one up.
