Fender Limited H.E.R. Stratocaster Blue Marlin
New Blue Marlin limited edition run for H.E.R.
The Fender Limited H.E.R. Stratocaster Blue Marlin models have just been announced and there will be 300 models made. Each comes with a matching painted headstock and a mid-’60s profile neck.
Limited H.E.R. Stratocaster Blue Marlin
The Fender Limited H.E.R. Stratocaster Blue Marlin is certainly a standout guitar and if you like blue then you will probably love this new finish. It is based on the original model that came out back in 2022 and that one had a Chrome Glow finish.
Mid-’60s
Specifications include an alder body and that one-piece maple neck with the mid-‘60s C-shape profile that I mentioned earlier. The neck has a 9.5” fretboard radius, with a set of abalone dot markers and it is fitted with 21 vintage-tall frets.
This signature model is fitted with a set of three Fender Vintage Noiseless Stratocaster single-coil pickups and a typical Strat control layout. They are fitted to a silver anodised aluminium pickguard, that looks very nice against that blue finish.
Vintage Style
It has the classic vintage style syncronized tremolo along with six vintage saddles and a set of vintage style tuners.
This all makes it quite a traditional Strat, just with a really nice modern eye-catching finish, which doesn’t look out of place against the custom colours of the 1960s.
Artist Model
The only subtle hint of it being a signature model guitar is the etched neck plate. This is a neat touch and it doesn’t make it scream that it is an ‘Artist’ model. Overall, it is a nice-looking Strat and I could see a lot of people liking this colour and the aesthetic.
Limited to 300 guitars worldwide.
The standard version is also still available if you prefer that Chrome Glow finish.
MSRP – GBP 1199 / USD 1349

Stunning finish and thank you for being a journalist and doing your job, not merely pasting the press release, (which ridiculously calls the headstock a ‘headcap’), which other (far lazier) sources have done.
