Fender Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster – Olympic Pearl
The Fender Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster is now available in an Olympic Pearl finish. This modified 57-style Strat is taking a new direction and is less fancy than its gold counterpart.
Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster
This Fender Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster is now available in an Olympic Pearl finish. The guitar hasn’t changed specifications and is essentially the same model as the previous Aztec Gold release.
Brewster is not exactly a household name outside of the USA, but he has had a signature model for quite some time. He has played melodic, Christian-inspired pop songs on guitar for around 25 years and has quite a following Stateside.
Specification
As with the Aztec Gold edition, this model has an ash body with a sculpted heel for better upper fret access. This is paired with a ‘soft V’ maple neck with a compound radius (9.5″-14″), 22 medium-jumbo frets and a nitrocellulose finish.
Brewster has opted for a modern two-point tremolo with a pop-in arm but with traditional bent steel saddles. This is paired with a set of vintage-style locking tuning machines for tuning stability.
It comes with a single-ply eggshell pickguard and white knobs, so it looks pretty understated in the new Olympic Pearl finish.
DiMarzio
This model includes a DiMarzio Area 61 single-coil Strat bridge pickup and two DiMarzio Area 58 single-coil Strat middle and neck pickups. These are vintage-voiced, hum-cancelling models paired with an onboard active preamp with a mid-boost. These are activated via a push/pull on the master volume, with the output level controlled using the Tone 1 knob., so there is no need for extra switches.
