Gallien Krueger RB Legacy: New Amp Heads Introduced at NAMM 2025
Addition to the RB Legacy Series
Gallien Krueger RB Legacy 1001RB and 2001RB will be introduced in time for NAMM Show 2025. Powerful bass amp heads with a wide chest and plenty of power.
Gallien Krueger RB Legacy Heads
The Gallien Krueger team has put a lot of effort into the development of these amps. Five years of intensive work, 20 iterations, and thousands of hours in the lab have resulted in two analog bass amps that make no compromises in performance or features. With a rugged, precision-engineered metal chassis, the RB Legacy 1001 and 2001 are built to last and promise tireless performance.
State-of-the-Art Class H Power Amplifiers
Both models feature Class H power amplifiers with two separate power supplies, one for low output levels and one for high output levels. This design ensures that the amplifiers operate reliably even at high volumes. This allows you to get maximum power without sacrificing sound quality or overheating the amplifier.
New Adjustable Limiter
A notable new feature of the RB Legacy Series is the adjustable limiter. This allows you to control the output signal at maximum power. This allows you to control excessive signal peaks, reduce unwanted transients, and prevent distortion for clear, clean sound.
Lots of Features
A cabinet simulation delivers the authentic sound of a live speaker cabinet via both the DI signal and the headphone output. In addition, the onboard Class A headphone amplifier is inspired by some of the most famous studio headphone amplifiers and delivers studio quality for headphones with an impedance of 8 to 300 ohms.
Conclusion
The Gallien Krueger 1001 RB Legacy and 2001 RB Legacy amp heads set a strong brand with thoughtful design and impressive performance. Adding the successful Legacy series is a logical consequence. Pricing and availability information is not yet available. We’ll keep you posted.
