Hardtail Ts: Harley Benton debuts fixed-bridge humbucking Fusion-T HH HT series
New twin humbucker Harley Benton T-Style models
The new Harley Benton Fusion-T HH HT models come loaded with twin humbuckers, gearing these T-Style guitars towards rock tones and more. The new models are available with a roasted maple fretboard and neck, or classic maple neck with an ebony fretboard.
Harley Benton Fusion-T HH HT
Following on from the fourth run of the Harley Benton Fusion III models in the last few days, it is a pleasant surprise to see another great value line released so soon. The new Fusion-T HH HT models offer a lot of guitar for the money. They all feature a pair of Roswell Alnico 5 humbuckers and include Modern-C profile, 25.5″ scale-length necks that come loaded with 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets.
Workhorse Guitar
I think these new models will have a wide appeal. Usually, twin humbuckers paired with this style of neck puts them squarely in the ‘do-it-all’ range of guitars. You also get a three-way blade switch, a Master Volume, and a Master Tone with push/pull that splits the humbucker for single-coil tones as needed, making them tonally versatile.
Options
You can opt for either a Roasted hard Canadian flame maple neck with matching fretboard, or a Canadian maple neck with an ebony fretboard. The comfort contoured T-style Sapele body is offered in Ice Blue Gloss, Daphne Blue Gloss, Shell Pink Satin, Flame Bengal Burst, Dark Pink Gloss, Silver Sparkle, or Purple Sparkle finishes. So plenty of colour options to choose from.
Rock Solid
Hardware includes a Graph Tech TUSQ XL 42 mm nut and WSC Staggered locking die-cast tuners paired with a WSC hipshot style custom hardtail bridge. All this should add up to good tuning stability and means these could be great workhorse guitars for players. Especially at these prices.
