Dedicated to the Allman Brothers Band guitarist, this guitar combines a vintage aesthetic with innovative features, including P-90 DC hum-free pickups and a built-in boost to expand sonic possibilities. The 60s Cherry finish adds a touch of elegance to a versatile, high-performance instrument.
Les Paul Standard 50s and 60s Double Trouble
Gibson at NAMM 2025 also updated the Les Paul Standard collection with the ’50s and ’60s Double Trouble models. Both are inspired by the golden eras of rock and combine vintage elements with modern technology.

The 60s version features a Slim Taper neck and 61R and 61T Burstbucker pickups with Alnico 5 magnets, perfect for a more punchy sound. Both models, available in finishes such as Vintage Cherry Sunburst and Vintage Tobacco Burst, embody the best of Gibson tradition. Both models are limited to 500 pieces in each finish!
Gibson Custom Acoustic
Gibson at NAMM 2025 also announced a couple of exciting models for its acoustic guitar line, celebrating tradition with reissues of historic models. The 1936 Advanced Jumbo, with its heat-aged spruce top, embodies the charm of vintage instruments, while the 1939 SJ-100 and 1942 Banner J-45 represent the best of the big jumbos and dreadnoughts respectively.
There was no shortage of celebrations of the 1960s, with models such as the 1960 Hummingbird, famous for its iconic engraved pickguard, and the 1963 Country Western, prized for its minimalist design and warm, enveloping sound.
Among the new releases, Gibson presented models such as the J-45 Special, a revamped version of the famous workhorse. With a slimmer design, this guitar guarantees a balanced sound and great playing comfort, perfect for any musical genre.
Another interesting release is the Margo Price J-45, inspired by the American Country singer-songwriter. Its details, such as the decorated double pickguards, make it a unique model.
