Gibson YouTube channel is back – with a Slash!
Gibson’s official YouTube page had all its content removed the other day, fuelling rumours of something stirring within the American guitar company. Now it’s back – with a new Slash video!
Slash talks 12 strings and double necks
The official Gibson YouTube channel has been relaunched with a video of Slash talking about his 1966 Gibson EDS-1275 Doubleneck. This model was recently released by Gibson Custom Shop as a limited edition of 125 instruments worldwide.
Global Brand Ambassador
After all the rumours running wild over the last weekend, it is nice to see the company back on track, uploading new content to YouTube. A lot of Gibson fans were a little worried when all the old content was suddenly pulled overnight. We needn’t have worried, it seems.
Slash, of course, is the company’s Global Brand Ambassador, so it makes sense for him to be a focal point for the relaunch of their YouTube channel.
You can watch the full video below and hear the Guns’N’Roses guitarist talk about how he came into possession of the original guitar.
