This week’s round-up of the best freebies also brings you Shine Reverb, a unique reverb plugin from DNX, and ToneKnob Saturator, the first in a new series of one-knob plugins from Audified.

Auburn Sounds Graillon 3: The Free Pitch Correction Plugin Gets an Update
Auburn Sounds Graillon has long been a popular alternative to Antares Auto-tune and other pitch correction and voice transformation tools. The newly released Graillon v3.0 steps it up a notch – and you can still download the basic version for free!
Most importantly, Graillon 3 now offers a choice of three pitch correction algorithms. G2 retains the sound of the previous version, G3 is a newly revised engine with enhanced sound quality, and I1 is the pitch engine from the developer’s Inner Pitch plugin. This gives you even more options from subtle pitch correction to crazy hard-tune effects.
Graillon 3 also offers pitch and formant shifting and comes with a selection of built-in FX, such as compressor, gate, chorus, preamp, and bitcrusher.
The paid version, which is now available for $29, unlocks advanced features like pitch-tracking modulation, micro tuning, and a vocal doubler.
Auburn Sounds Graillon 3 is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux in VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and LV2 formats. Kudos to the developer for supporting a wide variety of operating systems and formats!
DNX Shine Reverb: Unique Reverb Textures
Shine Reverb by DNX (Do Not Cross) is a great-sounding and versatile free reverb plugin that adds shine and sparkle to anything you throw at it. The developer says that Shine Reverb lets you “customize reverb like never before”. While that claim might be stretching it a bit, the plugin does have some unique controls for crafting one-of-a-kind reverb textures.
In addition to the familiar Size, Damp, and Decay controls, Shine Reverb offers the less common Shine, Jitter, and Fuse parameters. There’s also a pair of highpass and lowpass filters for shaping the sound of the reverb.
Shine Reverb is available for macOS and Windows in VST and VST3 formats.
Audified ToneKnob Saturator: One-Knob Saturation Plugin
Audified has launched the new ToneKnob series of one-knob plugins, and they’ve decided to give away the first one for free! ToneKnob Saturator is a one-knob saturation plugin that couldn’t be any easier to use. Still, the processes under the hood are quite complex.
According to Audified, they’ve combined the harmonic tube distortion characteristics of their 1A Equalizer and U73B Compressor plugins. The result is a saturator that can deliver anything from subtle coloration to full-on distortion. It works particularly well on vocals, guitars, bass, and drums, Audified says.
Audified ToneKnob Saturator is available for macOS and Windows in VST3, AU, and AAX formats.
