Gretsch expands Electromatic Double Jets range
Left-handed and right-handed models with either Filter'Tron or Broad'Tron pickups
Gretsch has just expanded their Electromatic Double Jets range by adding two left-handed and two right-handed models. Both models with a choice of Filter’Tron or Broad’Tron pickups, plus either a Bigsby vibrato or V-Stoptail bridge.
Electromatic Double Jets
The newly updated and expanded Gretsch Electromatic Double Jets range now offers even more choices for guitarists. It now includes two Filter’Tron-equipped Double Jets, one with a V-Stoptail bridge and the other with a Bigsby B50. Then there are two models with Broad’Tron pickups, one of which is a left-handed model, both versions come with V-Stoptail bridges.

This update is good news for players, as the Electromatic Double Jet models are great value for money. Plus, it is always good news to see more left-handed models being produced.
Construction
Key features across the range include a chambered mahogany body paired with an arched maple top. Then you get a set mahogany neck that has a 12”-radius laurel fingerboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and a set of Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays.
Elsewhere, they have chrome hardware and aged white binding on the neck, plus black/white aged binding on the body. All of which add up to classic Gretsch looks with vintage styling.
Filter’Tron or Broad’Tron?
Whether you opt for the Filter’Tron or the Broad’Tron loaded models, each comes with the same control layout. This includes a master volume with a treble bleed circuit, a master tone, plus separate bridge and neck pickup volume knobs and a three-position toggle switch.
