Schrödinger Series
RUF Guitars has revealed their Schrödinger Series which use their proprietary composite material Ruffaine. Essentially, these are fully carbon composite and also highly customisable guitars.
Customise
New owners can choose the scale length, fretboard material, design, pickups, etc And they offer hardware from Hipshot, Schaller and ABM.
Plus, they make the Ruffaine in Plain, Brown or Grey. Each colour has a corresponding tone with Brown offering a mahogany like resonance, whereas Grey is more like swamp ash’s resonant sweet tone and finally Plain is the most versatile of the three.
The company is also about to offer a nano-silver neck coating to help reduce sweating and any bacterial growth, which will be welcomed by all the guitar techs out there!
They will be at the NAMM Show at Booth 5534 which means you can go try them out.
