New Harley Benton Fusion EMG HT Roasted models: Stealth Black Shredders
Two new EMG loaded models from Harley Benton
These two new Harley Benton Fusion EMG HT Roasted models are the latest addition to the Fusion series. Both models come blacked out with a satin black finish, and have roasted maple necks, plus a pair of active EMG pickups. Perfect for players that need a high performance guitar at a great price point.
Harley Benton Fusion-III and Fusion-T EMG HT Roasted
The new Harley Benton Fusion-III EMG HT Roasted and Fusion-T EMG HT Roasted models have a Nyatoh body finished in satin black. This is paired with a bolt-on Canadian maple roasted neck fitted with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. The neck has a modern C profile perfect for smooth playing and modern styles.
Rock Solid
Both versions feature a hard tail WSC Hipshot-style bridge, perfect for sustain and when paired with the Graph Tech TUSQ nut, should also offer great tuning stability. Factor in a set of WSC staggered locking tuners, fitted to the reverse headstock, and I can see this being a very robust setup. I’m also a big fan of the truss rod adjustment via the spoke wheel at the heel of the neck.
EMG Loaded
These models come factory fitted with a pair of EMG Retro Active Hot 70 humbuckers. There is also a neat easy to access battery compartment around the back to accommodate the power requirements for these active pickups. The pickups themselves are wired via a single master volume, plus a master tone and a three-way blade switch.
Stealth Finish
All the hardware is finished in black, as are the EMG open-coil pickups, giving these models a very modern-looking, stealth appearance. I think it really suits the guitars nicely. Having a roasted maple neck means they also look a lot more premium and far more expensive than they actually cost. It is always nice to play a good looking guitar, after all.
High Quality?
I’ve just this week received one of the new Harley Benton MR-Series for an upcoming review. The fit and finish on that review model is insanely good. Therefore, I would surmise that if these new Fusion EMG HT Roasted models are anywhere near that quality, then they will be excellent value for money. Harley Benton is seriously upping its game in recent years, and you can find great reviews from users all over YouTube and guitar forums. So don’t just take my word for it.
