Harley Benton Fusion III Roasted Maple upgrade for HSH and HH
Roasted maple upgrades for Fusion III models
Harley Benton Fusion III HSH / HH roasted maple upgrade. All models from the Fusion-III HSH and HH series have been upgraded. Now they come with roasted maple necks and fretboards. Plus a subtle tweak to the overall design.
Fusion III HSH / HH Roasted Maple
In addition to the most obvious feature, the neck and fretboard made of roasted maple, Harley Benton also decided to revise the electronics. For example, the previous mini-toggle switch was removed and replaced by a master tone control with a push/pull function.
This is a nice upgrade for players and the new control layout looks a lot better and should be easy to use. Roasted maple should also be less prone to warping over time, and is known for being a solid stable material for guitar necks.
HSH vs HH
Apart from that, this new series of Fusion III instruments are built according to the same specifications that made the original series so popular with fans and customers: an ergonomically shaped Nyatoh body, a bolt-on neck with 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets and a modern C-profile neck shape.
They all come with pickups come from Roswell: The HSH has a HAF-B AlNiCo-5 humbucker for the bridge, an S74-C BK AlNiCo-5 single coil in the middle and a HAF-N AlNiCo humbucker on the neck. This model comes factory fitted with a Wilkinson 50IIK 2-point tremolo.
In the HH version, the middle single coil is omitted. However, you will get a Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo paired with a set of Grover GH305 6L tuners.
Finish Options
Fusion-III HSH: Trans Flamed Blue Burst, Gloss Trans Flamed Cherry, Gloss Trans Flamed Bengal Burst, Gloss Trans Flamed Charcoal Burst and Gloss Flamed Natural (this version is also available for left-handers).
Fusion-III HH: Gloss natural, Gloss Trans Flamed Charcoal Burst, Gloss Trans Flamed Bengal Burst, Gloss Trans Flamed Cherry*, Gloss Trans Flamed Blue Burst* and Gloss Trans Flamed Purple.

Sorry but I don’t get what is the novelty. In the fusion III roasted series (wich has almost 1 year of age), the roasted neck was already there (otherwise it would not be named roasted) and the toggle switch was already replaced by a push/pull in the tone pot.
You even did a news on it on july 02 2021:

Hi there! You are correct! As far as we are aware, the run was supposed to drop last year, but because of the global supply chain issues, only some of the models got shipped.
What would be “Novel’ is Harley Benton offering Left Hand versions of the Fusion Run 4 models.
Sorry but the whole point for most people buying these guitars was that they were affordable and great value.
Slowly but surely they are creeping into the £400 -£500 range and this will no longer be the case. As good as your guitars are,we might just as well go and look at Fenders and Gibsons and PRS guitars again…..!
