Harley Benton introduces new Dullahan-FT 24 Roasted IB headless guitar
Harley Benton Dullahan-FT 24 Roasted IB
Harley Benton has just expanded its headless guitar range with the Dullahan-FT 24 Roasted IB. From the outset, the instrument’s headless design makes it look both modern and very weapon-like. The guitar features an alder body paired with a lovely roasted Canadian flame hard maple neck, and comes loaded with twin Roswell HAF humbuckers. Couple that with some choice hardware and a stunning finish, and you have an instrument that should appeal to a wide gamut of players.
Roasted Maple
The roasted maple neck comes equipped with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets and a Graphtech Tusq XL nut, which means that it should play as as good it looks. And its modern flat 13.78″ radius will appeal to technical players, or those with a lighter touch.
The Ice Blue Gloss finish stands out nicely and gives the guitar a classic look, which melds well with its modern aesthetic. Certainly a head turner, and I expect those Alnico-5 pickups will grab peoples’ attention as well.
In my books, this headless design is a winner, especially at this price point. I’m tempted to get one myself, as I haven’t owned a headless guitar since the late ’80s, and this one seems to tick all the boxes.
