The Harley Benton JB-62CC is based on Jazz Bass. They come with a matching headstock and there is also a left-handed version available. A great deal for only €179 each and with some classic vintage colours on offer at launch.
Harley Benton JB-62CC
The Harley Benton JB-62CC name actually says it all really. JB stands for Jazz Bass, 62 for the year 1962, on which the style is based. Each bass comes with a matching headstock.

Choice of colour
With the following colours available on launch, this wallet-friendly bass spoils potential buyers with choice.
- Sunburst
- Shell Pink
- Seafoam Green (available in both right and left-handed versions)
- Olympic White
- Lake Placid Blue
- Dakota Red
- Black
Each one has a poplar body paired with a caramelised maple D-profile neck with a 12′′ radius laurel fretboard. The neck has 20 medium frets, white dot inlays and a graphite nut. All the hardware is chrome and includes the B401 bridge and a set of CB01-CR tuners.
These models come with Roswell JBA-B/JBA-N Alnico-5 pickups. The two pickups have a fairly typical twin volume and a single tone control layout, which is in keeping with this style of bass. This should offer you plenty of useable bass tones.

Budget Bass
Essentially, these models have everything you could need for a well-priced bass. The fact that they are well under €200 each is a huge bonus, and I can see these being popular with musicians. They follow on from the new colourful Harley Benton JA-60CC offset guitar range that also offers players a great deal for their hard-earned money.
Harley Benton is certainly offering some great colours and quality specifications to musicians. And all for a lot less than many of the major brands have on offer.
