Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-Li05 and ISO-Li09: Power Your Pedals on the Go
Integrated battery, different mA settings for different pedals at a bargain price!
Pedal power supplies are, well, not exactly the most exciting products on the market. But without them, entire pedalboards are silent. With the PowerPlant ISO-Li05 and the larger ISO-Li09, Harley Benton offers two multiple power supplies. And they deliver on the go if needed!
PowerPlant ISO-Li05 and ISO-Li09: All the Pedal Power You Need
The pedalboards of the guitar world are overflowing, from boutique to tuners to multi-effects, everything needs to be supplied with power. At least 9 volts, 300–500 milliamperes – that’s what most pedals require. And some only work with higher milliampere values. Others, in turn, tug and screech even more beautifully at 12 or even 18 volts.

Nowadays, multiple power supplies have to offer a whole lot more. In addition, the power connections better be isolated from each other, otherwise humming will be everywhere. With the two power supply units PowerPlant ISO-Li05 and ISO-Li09, Harley Benton offers exactly that at the usual affordable Harley Benton price.
LEDs and USB-C Power
As the name suggests, the smaller PowerPlant ISO-Li05 offers five power outputs: two with 300 mA / 9 V, two with 500 mA / 9 V and one that can be switched between 2000 mA / 9 V, 1500 mA / 12 V and 1000 mA / 18 V. This one, however, is not isolated like the other four. There is a status LED above each output. Depending on its color, it indicates whether power is present, whether there is a supply error, or, for mobile use, how full the battery still is (see below).

Smartphones and tablets can also be charged via the 18-watt USB-C port. The larger model ISO-Li09 offers the same, only with nine connections. There are six isolated ports: five with 9 V / 300 mA, two with 9 V / 500 mA, and one switchable with 9 V / 500 mA, 12 V / 375 mA or 18 V / 250 mA. In addition, it has three non-insulated outputs, which can also be switched between 2000 mA / 9 V, 1500 mA / 12 V and 1000 mA / 18 V.
PowerPlant ISO-Li05 and ISO-Li09 With Integrated Battery
In addition to the different connections, both power supplies include a special feature: an integrated lithium battery. This means your pedal board can be played even when you are on the road or during a power outage. The smaller ISO-Li05 comes with a battery with 5000 mAh. It can be charged in two hours and then provides power for one hour at full load.

The larger ISO-Li09 has a 10,000 mAh battery installed. This one takes three and a half hours to charge. According to the manual, it will last for “1.78 hours”, which is about 107 minutes. That would be enough for a small headliner gig!
Both power supplies include all the cables needed (except for a USB-C cable) for the corresponding ports.
How Much Does PowerPlant ISO-Li05 From Harley Benton Cost?
The Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-Li05 is available for €89 from Thomann*. The larger PowerPlant ISO-Li09 is also available there* for €119.
