Harley Benton Rocker Uke Red Satin & UkeBass OPNT
Harley Benton has added two more ukuleles to their ever expanding range. The first is the Rocker Uke Red Satin electric/acoustic model, and the latter is the UkeBass OPNT electric bass. Both models offer something interesting for ukulele players, and as ever with Harley Benton the prices are more than reasonable.
Harley Benton Rocker Uke Red Satin
The new Rocker Uke Red Satin offers players the best of both worlds. As this little red ukulele has an onboard preamp for the acoustic. Which means you can easily amplify your tone via an amp or PA system. Making them perfect fro gigging musicians.
Specifications
The main body is made from okoume, along with a matching okoume neck which has a purpleheart fretboard. The red satin finish has a subtle white binding around the top and the sides of the neck. Key features include a GraphTech nut, 19 medium frets and a HB pickup system with an onboard 2-band eq.
UkeBass OPNT
Next up is the new UkeBass OPNT and this is a very interesting take on an electric bass ukulele. The solid body uke bass has a body made of American swamp ash. Then the three-striped neck is made of maple with okoume stripes. In addition, the fretboard is made of rosewood and is fitted with 24 medium jumbo frets. You may need very small fingers to get to those upper frets though!
Sculpt your tone
An onboard active piezo pickup system powers this bass model. There are also separate controls for volume, treble and bass. Perfect for sculpting you bass tones to taste. The Harley Benton UkeBass OPENT comes in a Natural Satin finish which complements the woods chosen, especially with all that black hardware.
