Harley Benton rolls out new high-spec’d DLX and LTD models
Now with Gotoh hardware and Tesla pickups

Harley Benton has just introduced new DLX and LTD versions for its single-cut and double-cut models. This means you now get upgraded hardware from Gotoh, as well as Tesla humbucking pickups, rosewood fretboards, and some very nice new finishes.
Harley Benton DLX and LTD
This new range of DLX and LTD models from Harley Benton all feature gold hardware by Japanese maker Gotoh, including Tune-o-Matic bridges and Kluson-style tuners. They also come fitted with a pair Tesla VR-2 Alnico 5 pickups with gold covers, which should give you some classic humbucking tones. Other upgrades include rosewood fretboards, 7-ply headstock binding for the DLX models, and a host of colours including Black, Pelham Blue, Shell Pink, and Daphne Blue.

New models
Models included in this upgraded run are the DC-DLX Gotoh, DC-LTD Gotoh, and the SC-DLX Gotoh. So now you have both classic single-cut and double-cut designs to choose from. And if you are looking for great value for money, then Harley Benton offers just that.

Specifications
All models feature nyatoh bodies and mahogany necks, with a C-shape profile, a double-action truss rod and rosewood fretboards with trapezoid inlays. The bodies on the SC-DLX model are weight-relieved. Fretboards come fitted with 22 BlackSmith stainless steel medium-jumbo fret on the DLX models, and 22 silver nickel medium-jumbo frets on the LTD models. You also get a 43mm GraphTech TUSQ nut across the new range.

If you are looking for a good quality instrument with great hardware and some nice upgraded specifications, then these new models from Harley Benton are hard to beat on price. I’m also a fan of the new colours on offer, as they work well with that gold Gotoh hardware.

Love the new HB DLX in Pelam blue but they don’t ship Gibson, Fender or Kramer models to the US.
IS it a patent issue or just poor policy?
