Harley Benton ST-Junior HSS SBK Standard Series: Small size, big sound
Open A tuning, Satin Black Finish, and more!
There’s a new compact bolt-on guitar in town! The Harley Benton ST-Junior HSS SBK Standard Series is compact, looks grand, and brings everything along to make it a great-sounding axe. With its short scale, three pickups, and bolt-on neck, the ST-Junior isn’t just for kids and “players with smaller hands.”
Harley Benton ST-Junior HSS SBK Standard Series: It’s a bolt-on affair
For those of us looking for a beautiful guitar that doesn’t break the bank and that’s aimed at younger players or those of us with smaller hands, this new Harley Benton ST-Junior with an HSS configuration in Satin Black might be the thing. The model comes with a poplar body and a bolt-on maple neck with a roseacer fretboard and dot inlays.
Sporting this more compact size, the Harley Benton ST-Junior HSS SBK comes with a scale length of 492 millimeters (almost 17″) and a fretboard radius of 350 millimeters (13.8″). And with its satin black finish and dark red pickguard, this is bound to catch some looks – even at this size.
Electronics and more
The ST-Junior comes in an HSS configuration with a humbucker in bridge position and a single coil, each in mid position and in neck position. There is one volume knob and one tone knob, so these control the sum of whatever pickup configuration you have selected with the five-way switch.
This short-scale guitar also comes with 21 frets, a double action trussrod, and a 42-millimeter nut-width. The hardware is all black, matching the Satin Black finish. According to HB, this model comes with “A-D-G-C-E-A” tuning, which does make it great guitar to get on with all things Metal and more evil.
