Harley Benton TE-53KR Tribute Series: A Rock ‘n’ Roll T-Style
One for Open G tuning perhaps?
This new Harley Benton TE-53KR Tribute Series is certainly inspired by a pretty famous Tele. But can you guess who it belongs to? KR ** might just be a subtle hint.
Harley Benton TE-53KR
The new Harley Benton TE-53KR Tribute Series is a T-style guitar with a sweet humbucker in the neck position. It features an ash body, paired with a bolt-on caramelised Canadian maple neck that is fitted with 21 medium jumbo frets. The neck also comes with a smooth satin finish.
Chrome & Gold
The hardware includes a bone nut and deluxe chrome hardware throughout, including a set of Kluson-style tuners. Except for the gold-plated bridge that has six individual saddles.
Tribute Tones
Loaded with a set of Tesla pickups including an Opus-4 Alnico-5 vintage Humbucker in the neck position and an Opus-TE Alnico-5 single-coil model in the bridge position. It has a standard volume, tone and three-way pickup selector switch on a chrome control plate and a single ply black pickguard.
This Tribute Series model certainly looks like it could handle some tasty blues licks, and you could always play it with just five strings in Open G tuning.
After all, it’s only rock and roll…
