Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition: Learn how to Spin on Vinyl
The Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition is perfect for DJs who prefer the feel of vinyl even when spinning digitally – or for those who started on digital and want to get their feet wet on vinyl. At NAMM 2024, Hercules introduced a new Premium Edition of the DJControl Inpulse T7 that comes with a premium fader module, shiny gold-colored accents, and a bunch of accessories for those who like to scratch.
Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition
The original Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7 came out last year. The controller for DJUCED and Serato DJ offers two motorized 7” platters that take only 0.1 seconds to go from zero to 33⅓ RPM and can be manipulated just like a turntable. What’s more, the DJ Control Inpulse T7 even comes with felt slipmats and a pair of 7” records, so you can enjoy the feeling of vinyl while controlling your favorite DJ software.
At NAMM 2024, Hercules introduced the new DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition. It’s essentially the same controller as the standard version, but comes with some shiny gold-colored accents for a bit more bling bling. That aside, it also offers a couple of real advantages.
The Premium Edition comes with the Premium Fader Module preinstalled, which is only available as an option in the standard model. This gold-colored module includes three durable faders (two channel faders and a crossfader) that slide on two rails. Hercules says that this gives the faders a smoother movement – perfect if you want to get into scratching.
What’s more, the Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition also includes two extra scratch slipmats in addition to the standard slipmats. These allow you to handle the disc without affecting the platter’s rotation for real backspins and scratching. A high-quality travel bag is also included.
Apart from these extra features, the Premium Edition is the same as the regular DJControl Inpulse T7. It’s got XLR and RCA outputs, dual headphone jacks, and USB for connecting your laptop. You also get a 100 mm pitch fader, 3-band EQ, filter, paddle, and three FX buttons per deck. The controller weighs just 11 lb / 5 kg, so you can take it anywhere.
Price and availability
The Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition is now available at Thomann* for $722. If you don’t need the premium features, the standard version* is $555.
