The holiday season is almost upon us – so what better way to celebrate the ending of 2020 (!) with a series of awesome giveaways! We’ve teamed up with some famous brands for this competition, including Mackie, Sennheiser, Novation and ADAM Audio.
Timetable
Every week until 24 December we’re giving away some cool audio and music gear. There’s something for everyone, including live mics, studio monitors, headphones and instruments. Here’s our Holiday Season 2020 giveaway schedule:

The first raffle is now underway! All you have to do to enter the raffle for Mackie MC-450 heaphones is to add a comment below this post, or below the Facebook or Instagram post announcing this raffle. Only one comment is allowed per entrant, so please don’t post multiple times or we’ll have to disqualify you. Part 1 of our raffle closes Thursday, 26 November at 23:59:59 CET.
Mackie MC-450 Headphones
These open-backed cans are Mackie’s premium headphones for studio mixing applications. The MC-450 are the top model in the Mackie MC range and are designed to give you a clear, balanced sound to help you make those crucial mixing decisions. But if you’re listening to some tunes when you’re out and about, they also include a cable with telephone control and microphone. Here are the main features:

- 54 Ohms
- Sound pressure: 101 dB
- Adjustable leather headband and memory foam ear pads
- Interchangeable cable with lockable bayonet connector
- Three cables included: 300 cm Braided straight, 122 cm Spiral, 122 cm Straight cable with telephone control and microphone
- Gold-plated 1/4″ adapter
- Weight: 0.350 kg
- Colour: Black
- Includes storage bag
If you don’t yet have a pair of quality headphones for mixing and monitoring, these are a great all-round solution that will upgrade the quality of your mixing process no end.
Terms and Conditions
Participation is, of course, free of charge.
The minimum age for participation is 14 years. Participation is only allowed once – attempted multiple entries per competition automatically lead to disqualification. This raffle is for a pair of Mackie MC-450 studio headphones.
All comments (here under this post, under the Instagram post for the raffle or under our Facebook post for this raffle) are collected. The Gearnews team will draw a random entry and the lucky winner will be notified by us. Employees of gearnews.com, the participating companies and their family members are excluded from participating in the competition.
Your data will only be stored within the framework of this competition and will not be passed on to third parties. Legal recourse is excluded and no cash alternatives to the prizes are offered. The prizes are not transferrable. This competition, with a prize of Mackie MC-450 headphones, runs from Friday, 20.11.2020 to Thursday, 26 November 2020 (23:59:59 hrs CET). All comments received after this date are invalid.
