IK Multimedia launches UNO Sounds: Free sounds for all UNO users

If you own a UNO Synth, UNO Drum or UNO Pro Synth then IK Multimedia has a treat for you in the shape of over 600 new sounds, presets and kits.

Apparently, this is something IK is going to be doing a lot of in the future. So, it has decided to pull them together into the IK Product Manager rather than as individual sound bank downloads like it has in the past.

All you have to do is connect your UNO machine to your computer and run the IK Product Manager. It will update the firmware of your device if necessary and then allow you to download the sounds via your synths editor.

There are some familiar names amongst the makers of the sound banks such as Ian “Blandy” Bland, HaqAttaq and DJ T.A.G.. Suit & Tie Guy from STG Soundlabs has supplied a bunch of presets for the UNO Drum and there are lots of new vintage kits to play with. UNO Drum gets the most new stuff, although the original UNO Synth gets plenty. The new UNO Synth Pro is a little lighter on content.

It’s great to see a manufacturer release new content for existing synthesizers. It gives them a comfortingly supported vibe as well as possibly inspiring you with new sounds.
