Joyo D-Seed II digital delay/looper pedal: The ideal entry-level echo effect?
The new Joyo D-Seed II pedal packs eight different digital delay types into one budget pedal as well as a looper function, making for a seriously versatile delay pedal, given the low price point.
Joyo D-Seed II
Joyo’s D-Seed II is a stereo digital delay pedal with eight different delays on tap (pardon the pun). These include Space, Lo-Fi, Filter, Tape, Copy, Analog, Modulation and Reverse delays. The delay time goes up to two seconds.
There’s also useful built-in looper, with up to 3.5 minutes recording time available. As you can see this delay has a lot of useful options, including a toggle switch that adds a stereo ping-pong effect to any of the selected delay types. Both the input and output sides are in stereo.
The unit has controls for Delay Type, Time Beat/Loop FX, Level and Feedback/Loop Tone. Plus switches for Tap Tempo / Rec/Dub and Bypass/Play/Stop. This all allows you to easily dial in and control the delay parameters, or access the looper function easily.
Budget Bargain?
Not bad for under USD 90! With plenty of delay types on offer. this little pedal could be perfect for anyone wanting to dive into the world of echo and delay. Joyo has a knack for making decent pedals for a lot less money than you would expect and the D-Seed II certainly shouldn’t be overlooked. Joyo also has the R-07 Aquarius delay/looper in its range, which is also priced in the same ballpark; the Aquarius is mono but has a longer looper time and different delay types.
You can hear the D-SEED II in action below in Joyo’s official demo video.
RRP – USD 89

I am interested in purchasing this as it looks like the ideal song building tool. I will try to find out a little more ( is there a metronome?)
