KHDK and Trivium collaborate on new In Waves clean boost pedal
Trivium work again with KHDK
KHDK and Trivium have joined forces once again for the new In Waves clean boost pedal, named after the band’s 2011 album. This follows on from 2021’s the Ascendancy overdrive pedal, which shared a similar colour scheme/design.
KHDK In Waves
The new KHDK In Waves clean boost pedal, a collaboration with Trivium, is limited to a run of 333 pieces worldwide. KHDK designed the clean boost with the help of Trivium’s Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu. The pedal is described as the “most insane clean boost” ever, and could be perfect for anyone that needs such a thing.
Tight
With a pretty straightforward control layout that consists of Boost, Treble and Bass, plus a Tight switch in the centre of the three knobs. Boost controls the output volume, and while the Treble and Bass accentuate your high and low frequencies. Finally, the Tight switch adds some low end in the preamp section, with the up position boosting the bass response.
Each pedal comes with a certificate signed by both Matt and Corey. The pedal itself is true bypass and will run on 9-18V power, allowing it to integrate well with most pedalboards. It could be a great little clean boost, but you’ll need to be quick to get one, as they are only making 333 of them.
