Korg teases a new synthesizer for the New Year

Korg Tease
The release date is set for the 7th January and until then we just have this little clip to ponder:

It’s not telling us much other than it’s a keyboard based synthesizer of some kind. The slightly generic nature of the music makes me lean towards this being a workstation style everything-keyboard like a Kross or an Arranger rather than a cool new synthesizer like the Minilogue XD. I think I can see both a pitch and modulation wheel which in their current lineup is only present on the Kross, Prologue and the MicroKorg. Although behind that it looks like a joystick or one of those switches that are prevalent on the Prologue. So maybe the Prologue is closer to whatever this could be making it very cool indeed.
Perhaps we’re looking at a Prologue XD which has more than the one digital custom Multi-Engine oscillator?
Korg has alwats come up with the goods at around NAMM time and so I’m very excited to find out what this could be.
