Kramer Original Collection expands with new affordable Pacer Classic
This Floyd Rose loaded Pacer Classic offers a lot of bang for your buck!
Kramer has expanded its Original Collection with the new budget conscious Pacer Classic model. Retailing for a mere $379 / €379, this wallet-friendly shredder features a licensed Floyd Rose, and comes loaded with a pair of double white Alnico 5 Classic humbuckers.
Kramer Pacer Classic
The new Pacer Classic joins the Kramer Original Collection, offering players an affordable take on the classic ’80s style shred guitar. I like that players have a choice of colours, including Purple Passion Metallic, Scarlet Red Metallic and Radio Blue Metallic finishes, along with the ability to buy a left-handed version, which I really do applaud, especially for such a well-priced instrument. You get an alder body, along with a 25.5″ scale maple neck with a Kramer K-Speed SlimTaper C profile, fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets.
Locking Trem
All three colours options feature chrome hardware, and use die-cast tuning machines. You also get that aforementioned licensed Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge and an R2 locking nut. Elsewhere, the specifications are what you would expect from this style of guitar, You get double white Alnico 5 Classic humbuckers, controlled via two volume knobs, a master tone, and a three-way mini-toggle switch.
Budget Shred Guitar with Attitude
I’ve been quite hard on the Kramer relaunch in some of my previous articles, but I actually think this new Pacer Classic offers some great ’80s style shred, and for a very reasonable price point. So I am impressed, to say the least. Plus, left-handed models are always a win in my book, especially when there is no upcharge for them!
