Launchpad Arcade: blast some loop action in your browser
Novation believe in spreading their looptopian Launchpad ideals to every platform on the planet. The latest incarnation is Launchpad Arcade and all you need is a browser.

Got a computer? Are you online? If you can answer “yes” to both those questions then you can remix loops, sounds and noises in Launchpad Arcade. It’s a player, very similar to the iOS version where you can trigger loops and one-shots and it all runs in sync with itself.
If you are running it on a tablet or Surface then it responds brilliantly to touch. If not then the mouse is your loop triggering friend. Your QWERTY keyboard can also be employed as the triggering device. If you happen to have the Launchpad hardware knocking around then you can connect it to the Arcade by running it in a Chrome browser.
There appear to be 8 sessions you can load up and all of them are also downloadable as Ableton projects. It gives you something to play with.
There are no extra mixing or effects pages like you get in the iOS version, this is simple loop triggering. If you’ve never played with this sort of thing before then you’re in for a treat. If you have then it’s the same old story of remixing other people’s tunes. It’s a great way to market your music though.
