New to the Lauten Audio Series Black family, the LA-320, LA-220, and LA-120 get a refresh in the more accessible end of the Lauten range. Let’s take a closer look at some of the new features.
Lauten Audio ‘Series Black’ updates
Each of the three microphone microphones is now decked out with polished nickel trim. Meanwhile, the LA-320 has been redesigned to show its similarity to the Lauten Audio Eden LT-386 flagship tube microphone.
In addition, both the LA-220 and LA-320 now ship with a new open-face shock mount.
LA-120 V2
The Series Black LA-120 V2 is a versatile transformerless small-diaphragm condenser. Designed around JFET technology, the aim is to capture performances without colouration.
What’s more, the useful HP and LP filters help you focus more exclusively on the frequency range you’re working with. The LA-120 ships as a matched pair, with additional omni caps, windshields, and clips and is currently available for order via Thomann.

LA-220 V2
Aimed for modern recording situations, which are often at home. The Lauten Audio LA-220 V2 is a large diaphragm FET condenser mic with two distinctive topology settings, bringing more flavours to your mic locker at an affordable price(order from Thomann).

LA-320 V2
In a similar fashion, the LA-320 V2 offers the same tonal duality. However this time, it’s in a large diaphragm tube condenser format. You can choose between a vintage or a modern tube sound, depending on the project you’re working on.
