The new LD Systems ICOA PRO Series is launching with two PA loudspeakers and a matching subwoofer. The series includes two active full-range coaxial loudspeakers – the ICOA PRO 12 A and the ICOA PRO 15 A – as well as the active 21-inch bass reflex subwoofer, the ICOA PRO SUB 21 A. The new series is aimed at ambitious bands, musicians and DJs, as well as rental companies and commercial customers.

LD Systems ICOA PRO 12 A and 15 A PA Speakers
With the ICOA PRO series, LD Systems offers two PA speakers and a matching subwoofer. In addition to the coaxial design, special features include Bluetooth support and the option of app control.
12 A and 15 A are all-rounders with high-quality components for full-range, satellite, monitor and integrated applications. Both are based on a coaxial loudspeaker design with a 12″ or 15″ woofer and a 3″ HF driver.
In addition, rotatable, BEM-optimized CD horns with an 800 Hz crossover are used for a homogeneous 90° x 50° dispersion pattern. Bass reflex ports provide full-range performance down to 50 Hz.
The integrated Class D amplifier delivers 2000 watts (ICOA PRO 12 A) or 3000 watts (ICOA PRO 15 A) and a maximum level of 133 or 135 dB SPL. An internal DSP in the new series of PA speakers ensures that the sound remains distortion-free even at high volumes. A front LED indicates when the speakers are reaching their limit.
Both PA speakers are equipped with two line/microphone inputs with individual volume control. There is also a mono mix output. Bluetooth 5.1 is also supported, and two speakers are capable of stereo streaming.
The free ICOA PRO app provides remote control via smartphone and tablet and is available for iOS and Android. Extras include a 4-band parametric EQ, four application presets and a delay function for integration into larger setups.
The ABS housing with integrated steel construction and impact-resistant grill can also be mounted without tools using EasyMount, and six M10 rigging points are also available. And of course, the new series of tops can be used with the Dual-Tilt tripod mount with 0° and 5° tilt angles.
LD Systems ICOA PRO Sub 21 A
The matching bass-reflex subwoofer for the new series offers a low bass range down to 29 Hz and has a max. SPL of 136 dB and 1500 watts RMS / 3000 watts peak.
It uses a neodymium motor with a 4.5-inch voice coil, which is said to provide fast and tight response. Extras include a 4-band parametric EQ with six presets and control via the included app.
The internal DSP has a limiter and also monitors voltage and temperature. The subwoofer’s delay is adjustable up to 50 meters.
The subwoofer is equipped with two XLR inputs and two XLR-TRS outputs. The bass cube is housed in a polyurea-coated birch plywood enclosure and protected by an impact-resistant grill. Eight handles allow for easy transport. Two M20 threaded spacer rods allow vertical and horizontal placement. Eight stacking grooves are also convenient for storage.
