Leak: Arturia V-Collection 9 coming soon, here’s everything new
Arturia V-Collection 9 is leaking worse than the roof in my living room! I’m talking several retailers hoisting product pages with legitimate infos and forums spreading the latter like wildfire. Here’s the word…
Arturia V-Collection 9 leak
Version 9 of Arturia’s best-in-the-biz suite of vintage synth emulations brings aboard 4 instruments (Korg MS-20 V, SQ80 V, Augmented STRINGS, and Augmented VOICES), fully rebuilt versions of already available ones (CS-80 V, Prophet-5 V, Prophet-VS V, Piano V), 14 new sound banks with thousands of new presets, and a healthy serving of performance & workflow enhancements. The price is pegged at around EUR 499 with VAT, but I suspect most of you are waiting for upgrade, crossgrade, and loyalty offers. The release date is not established, but it’s probably a matter of days.
What’s new in V Collection 9
- Korg MS-20 V (brand new)
- SQ80 V (released last year)
- Augmented STRINGS & Augmented VOICES (read more)
- CS-80 V (rebuilt)
- Prophet-5 V (rebuilt)
- Prophet-VS V (rebuilt)
- Piano V (rebuilt)
The Korg MS-20 V emulation is probably rad but the one available from Korg is as good as the real thing. So Arturia is paying homage like it loves to do and adding another bit of completeness to its softsynth flagship bundle.
Now, about those rebuilt instruments. The Prophet V and Prophet VS emulations have been separated into individual instruments, both rebuilt from scratch and with updated modeling. Likewise, CS-80 V has a brand new sound engine with updated DSP modeling, advanced modulation, voice dispersion, and a modernized ‘Advanced’ panel. Finally, Piano V features 12 piano models and advanced sound design controls.
Aside from said refreshments, expect better loading times, clearer graphics, expanded user playlist functionality, and other touches. All in all, version 9 seems like a pretty cool upgrade. I wonder how many decades it will be before Arturia considers modeling its own awesome synths. You know I’m talking about the Brutes…

WHAT? Nope.
I can’t record automations with V collection ir Pigments using my Keylab mk2 within FL Studio so i won’t be upgrading anything until that’s fixed. I’ve been waiting on Arturia for MONTHS.
