LEAK: Fender Squier Classic Vibe Starcaster appears on US dealer sites
A new Squier Classic Vibe Starcaster leaked on US site American Musical, and although the images have now been removed, more appeared on ZZounds. And were pulled there, too! Fortunately someone managed to get some screen grabs of the new model before it launches at Summer NAMM.
Squier Classic Vibe Starcaster
We don’t have any further information on this upcoming model but I bet it will be announced at Summer NAMM 2019 along with those new Fender Vintera models that leaked online yesterday.
We do know it is called the Squier Classic Vibe Starcaster and it looks like we have a few colour options available for the guitar.
Zzounds
Clearer images then appeared on Zzounds site and were subsequently uploaded to the TPDRI Forum before they got pulled down by Zzounds themselves. However, some of the TDPRI users have reported that they managed to place orders for them before they all got pulled.
Below you can see those models in more detail.
We’ll no doubt be getting the full specs from Fender soon. Meanwhile, what’s your reaction to these new models? Let us know in the comments below.

Hasn’t Fender run out of failed models to try to relaunch yet?
Uuuuuuuuuggly!
The headstock look like a shoe with lace holes.
While I am a fan of the Classic Vibe series – – owning 2 Classic Vibe Strat’s, which I’ve heavily modified – – and of semi hollow body guitars in general, this just looks awkward and ungainly. I will give them a shot in person, though.
I love it when Fender does quirky and unconventional stuff. There’s more than enough for the traditionalists. These beauties are right up my alley!
May be not quite the Sales ” shoe in” that theyre expecting. Style wise , I award it the “Order of The boot”.
shoo in*
Yes please! Not enough offset semihollows out there. Also, if these have the new wide-range humbuckers the Vintera Teles have, you can just take all my money now…
they wont be the same. They’re stamped with the “squier” logo, not fender
peasant
Love it!
