Power Friendly

The PandorA delivers 60W of power at 8 Ohms and 30W at 16 Ohms, operating on a wide voltage range (12-24V) from various sources, including AC and DC, regardless of polarity. This is great and makes it easy to use with most power sources.

Analog Friendly

As I mentioned, it was specifically engineered to amplify analog signals from preamps, distortions, and EQ pedals. It incorporates a built-in analog impedance curve approximation and a tube-amp-inspired negative feedback loop with Presence and Depth controls for a warm and responsive sound. Just set the Level knob, and off you go!

The unique design uses a TPA3118 chip for high-performance amplification, and it includes extensive support circuitry to buffer, shape, and pre-amplify the signal, maximising output.

The Perfect Gig Bag Amp?

Designed for easy integration into pedalboards, creating minimal and easily transportable rigs, the PandorA is compatible with stereo effects and splitters for creating stereo or wet/dry setups.

It also includes a mute footswitch for convenient signal control, offers a wide voltage range and incorporates a rectifier circuit and extensive power filtering for compatibility with various power sources.

Verdict

All this adds up to make a power amp that can handle most situations and is so compact that it can live in your gig bag. I’m impressed by the design; the video above demonstrates that it sounds as good as it looks.

The price is more than reasonable for a power amp with all these great features, as it could be used in multiple setups easily.

MSRP – EUR 199
