Line 6 Spider V 20 MkII – The perfect practice amp?
The new Line 6 Spider V 20 MkII is a 20-Watt guitar amplifier that looks like it could be perfect for practice sessions, and included onboard effects and a tuner.
Line 6 Spider V 20 MkII
Today is certainly budget amp day, what with Boss announcing their new Katana MK II amp series! Now we have Line 6 bringing out a new Spider V 20 MkII 20-Watt amp as well!
This rugged-looking, portable 20-Watt combo has built-in effects and an onboard tuner, plus 16 amp models to choose from. The front panel has controls for Drive, Tone, Volume, Reverb, FX, and Master, with a rotary control knob for choosing the amp model. You can also choose three effects presets; each can be activated using the three FX buttons.
Reverb works independently of all these buttons. You also get a user friendly tap/tuner button that lets you tap in your delay times and modulation rates.
Spider V Remote
You can also plug in either a Mac, PC or mobile device via the Micro USB port. There’s a free Spider V Remote application to tweak the amp’s functions. It allows you to add additional amp models and effects, edit existing presets or create your own custom presets.
This looks like a great little practise amp to me and the price is spot on for all those features. You can check it out in the official Line 6 demo video below.
RRP – EUR 119
