Love Hultén and Lirona present the stunning Synth#boi visual synthesizer
Wow! This is an interactive synthesizing, NFT visualising, gorgeously designed and weirdly named Synth#boi gallery grade sculpture.
Synth#boi
Synth#boi is a collaborative project between artist/designer Lirona and custom instrument maker Love Hulten. It’s a full-blown synthesizer coupled with an interactive sculpture that visualizes NFT artwork designed by Lirona. She calls it a “Phygital” device combining both the digital and the physical – I like that.

Evidently, there’s some kind of computerised jiggery-pokery going on behind the scenes. The 2-octave keyboards appear to be able to play polyphonically and the sound is interpreted by the screen and triggers illuminating events within the strangely human artwork. There are three knobs on the front that probably select the sounds or have some kind of impact on them.

The case was handcrafted by Love Hulten who is responsible for all sorts of fabulously crafted instruments using existing synthesizer technology on the inside.
The programming was done by the Phenomena Labs design studio and produced by artist Yambo. Interaction Artist Ronen-Tanchum also gets a mention. Sounds like it was an epically collaborative project.
