The Life is Good philosophy
Martin Life is Good is a new series of acoustic guitars and ukuleles that takes a humorous look at life and optimism. In 1994, brothers Bert and John designed their first T-shirt with the message “Life is Good” and quickly realized that these three simple words have more depth for many people around the world.
Today, Life is Good is putting its optimism into action by donating 10% of its annual net profits to the Playmaker Project. With this support, Life is Good is helping over a million children in need every year. This commitment to children’s well-being reflects Life is Good’s dedication to making positive changes in the world and spreading joy. The initiative has partnered with Martin Guitars for a series of special guitars.
Martin Life is Good: The LX1 acoustic guitar
The top of the Martin Life is Good LX1 is made of high-pressure laminate (HPL) and decorated with a cheerful “Life is Good” print that celebrates the beauty of nature and the joy of life. This message is perfectly complemented by the grained mahogany HPL back and sides, ensuring durability and delivering a rich sound. Whether you’re traveling or in challenging climatic conditions, this guitar will withstand anything while maintaining a warm and stable sound.
Its compact, modified 0-body allows for exceptional comfort. The spruce X-bracing construction improves sound and projection so that every chord and melody you play sounds as clear as possible. The birch laminate neck makes for smooth transitions between chords and makes playing comfortable and intuitive. The Rich lite fingerboard and bridge combine modern materials with the classic feel of Martin guitars.
The LX1-Martin Life is Good was developed with the needs of mobile musicians in mind. A custom-made soft shell case not only ensures safe transport.

The Martin Life Is Good OXK UKE is the second special edition in the series. Made from durable Hawaiian Koa HPL, it also features a vibrant collage of some of the most iconic “Life is Good” graphics, celebrating over 30 years of optimism.
The ukulele comes with a handy gig bag made from 100% recycled polyester and will surely put you in a good mood. This ukulele is great for playing and a wonderful way to turn musical moments into unforgettable memories.
