MeldaProduction MSuperLooper: Live looping on 16 tracks
MeldaProduction has released MSuperLooper, a looper plug-in made for creative live performances. The plug-in lets you layer loops on up to 16 tracks and run them through modular effects chains. That sounds like a great way to jam and come up with ideas. MSuperLooper is on sale at over 80% off until July 1st.
MeldaProduction MSuperLooper
MeldaProduction MSuperLooper is a feature-rich audio looper in a plug-in format. It lets you record on up to 16 tracks, each of which can hold four loops. That’s a lot of looping real estate for layered performances. There are various options for syncing to your DAW, and autostart and overdub recording modes. You can also export loops as WAV files and import your own samples. This means that MSuperLooper is not only a creative performance tool, but can also be used at any point during the production process.
The plug-in can be controlled via MIDI and offers a MIDI learn mode, so you can use any MIDI keyboard or controller. That’s obviously a much more intuitive way of controlling the plug-in than reaching for the mouse every time you want to start recording. MeldaProduction says that MSuperLooper uses internal 64-bit processing and supports any sample rate for high audio quality.
Each track offers a modular effects chain based on the MeldaProduction MXXXCore system. This means that you can use all of the plug-ins from the company’s various FX bundles (some of which must be purchased separately) directly in MSuperLooper without ever leaving the plug-in.
MSuperLooper seems like an inspiring tool for creative live looping. Its track-based layout with effects makes it work almost like a “mini DAW inside your DAW”.
Price and compatibility
MeldaProduction MSuperLooper is now available from Plugin Boutique* for USD 19 / GBP 15.28. That’s more than 80% off the list price of USD 107. This introductory offer will expire on July 1st, 2020.
The plug-in runs on Windows Vista or higher (32/64 bit) and macOS 10.9 or higher (64 bit) in VST, VST3, AU and AAX formats.
