Mix up to 8 IRs at once with LIBRA IR mixer by STL Tones and Ignite Amps
Now you can blend up to eight Impulse Responses!
STL Tones and Ignite Amps have collaborated on the new LIBRA IR mixer, a new tool that lets its users blend up to eight Impulse Responses running simultaneously. Is this the ultimate cab IR tool?
LIBRA IR
The new LIBRA software from STL Tones and Ignite Amps supports mono and stereo as well as automatic resampling. This means it can handle different sample rates and it will also do any adjustments needed for handling phase between loaded IRs. Which I can imagine is quite a job with eight IRs loaded at once!
Cartesian Mixer
Another cool feature is the useful onboard level attenuator. Solo and resonance controls are also included, as well as hi/lo pass analogue shaped filters to help you sculpt your tone.
The Cartesian Mixer window allows you to seamlessly mix up to eight (!) different IRs in a very easy to use, simple graphical way. Which is no mean feat, as having all those signals mashed up together can probably get confusing fast!
Compatibility
The software requires a free iLok account. LIBRA is compatible with Windows 7 or above and Mac OS X 10.9 onwards. The plug-in is available in VST2, VST3, AU and AAX formats.
With Impulse Responses having such a huge affect on your guitar’s overall tone, this new IR mixer looks on paper to be pretty epic. Luckily for us, Ola Englund has already put it through its paces. You can watch him give his opinion of the new LIBRA software in the video below.
Currently, the LIBRA package is being sold for an introductory price and you can download it directly from the link below.
