Momo releases an editor for the Elektron Model Sampler
One of the signs of a successful music-making device is developer Momo taking the trouble to write an editor for it. His latest takes on the cheap and cheerful (for Elektron) Elektron Model Sampler.
Elektron Model Sampler MIDI Editor
Momo’s editors are graphical MIDI controllers that can run either standalone or as a VST plug-in within your DAW. They carry the advantage of being able to save all your hardware edits, setup and changes within your DAW project for instant and easy recall. Plus they usually uncover some hidden parameters that are not easy to access from the hardware front panel.
In this editor Momo has pulled out all 6 tracks and given them access to every parameter onscreen, all at the same time. Hidden parameters for LFO and FX have been discovered and you now have the ability to solo any of the tracks. Momo’s trademark XY pads are there for each track and can be assigned to any two parameters. He says they’re really good for fading between tracks.
Everything can be automated in your DAW including pattern selection and changing, and it all gets saved along with your project.
The Elektron Model Sampler MIDI Editor will set you back all of €5.90 for Windows or MacOS.
