Mooer amps it up with two new micro preamps: UK Gold PLX and Blueno
Two new pedals model a 1967 50W Plexi and 36W Class A UG30
Mooer is expanding once again on its popular Micro Preamps range, adding the UK Gold PLX and Blueno pedals.
UK Gold PLX
This is an interesting one, as it is based on a 1967 50W Plexi taken from the personal collection of LA Guns’ Tracii Guns (yes, that Tracii Guns, the guy that kind of help form Guns’n’Roses). Expect classic rock tones with plenty of overdrive and sustain.
Blueno
Based on a 36W Class A UG30 and aimed at a silkier chime-like sound, this could be great for those looking for a little more oomph and headroom.
Both these Micro Preamp mini pedals have two channels with their own independent gain, volume and EQ sections. You also get a rather handy optional built-in cab sim, which makes these perfect for guitarists on the move.
Stocking Fillers?
At these prices, you could afford to own a few of the Mooer Micro Preamp pedals and so give yourself a few tonal options. I think they could also make great presents for guitarists, so if you are looking to get a stocking filler for a guitarist friend or family member, these are a neat little box of tricks for your favourite axe-slinger.
RRP – GBP 95 / USD 99
