Mooer Harmony X2 and Tender Octaver X2 added to X2 Series
Two new X2 Series effects added to Mooer Audio's lineup
These Mooer Harmony X2 and Tender Octaver X2 effects have just been added to their popular X2 Series. Each pedal offers a wealth of great effects and a simple user interface.
Harmony X2
First up is the new Mooer Harmony X2 effect and this model is designed to switch between major and minor modes across all 12 pitches. Which could make it a great tool for the studio or stage for most musicians.

Harmonies
On the left side of the pedal, there is a display for the key. If you select a sharp key like C sharp, C and D light up at the same time. Users can use the Left and Right controls to adjust the volume of the two harmonies in the stereo image. Dry then determines the level of the dry signal in the middle.
Intervals
Note R and Note L set the respective interval – from second to sixth above and below. There is also the octave above at L and the octave below at R. You activate both harmonies separately using the two footswitches
This simple user interface is great for navigating the effect and like the rest of the X2 Series of effects, it has plenty of power.
Tender Octaver X2
Next up, is the Tender Octaver X2 and this effect offers users two separately switchable octaves for the signal: one above and one below. Users can also blend in the Dry signal along with both octaves, so it can get quite thick if so desired.

Presets
For both octaves, there are separate controls for volume, tone (frequency boost and attenuation at the bottom (left) or top (right)), and a foot switch for each signal. To do this, use Direct to adjust the level of the dry signal.
There are 14 preset storage spaces in the Tender Octaver X2, so users can set up some favourites in advance.
X2 Series
These two new X2 Series effects are currently available to pre-order, and they sit nicely with the rest of the range of effect pedals. Mooer has certainly gained a better reputation in recent years and now seems to be innovating, rather than just mimicking other brands.
