Mooer Audio has released the Hornet 15W Li, a refreshingly portable and feature-packed desktop amp. Now, with a rechargeable lithium battery, you can play practically anywhere.

Available in both sleek white and classic black finishes, the Hornet 15W Li boasts a rechargeable lithium battery, allowing guitarists to unleash their creativity wirelessly for hours on end.
Built upon the legacy of the popular Hornet series, the 15W Li retains its retro-inspired aesthetic while packing modern performance capabilities.
Different Preamps
A large, intuitive dial on the front panel cycles through nine distinct preamp models, each meticulously crafted to emulate legendary guitar amplifiers of the past. The white and black versions come with different preamps, so you’ll need to choose carefully when buying them.
White features tones modeled after the Fender Twin, Fender Blues Deluxe, Mesa/Boogie MKIII, Marshall Plexi, Two Rock, and includes bass and acoustic guitar amp simulations.
Whereas the Black version showcases a Roland Jazz Chorus model, Fender Twin, and high-gain options like the “PV 5150” (Eddie Van Halen’s Brown Sound), Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier, and Bogner Uberschall, alongside Mooer Audio’s signature metal guitar amp sound
Live & Preset Modes
Live Mode allows you to instantly access and adjust the amp’s built-in sounds with real-time effects. Then Preset Mode lets you save your customised sounds (including amp settings and effects) as presets for easy recall later.
The onboard tuner, Bluetooth connectivity, and headphone output are all standard for both models, along with a 3-band EQ and auxiliary input.
FX
The modulation dial allows players to select between chorus, phaser, and vibrato effects, while the delay dial offers analog, tape echo, and digital delay options. The reverb provides room, hall, and church emulations, ensuring a wide range of atmospheric effects to suit any practice scenario.
Portable Power
Weighing in at a mere 2.9kg, the Hornet 15W Li is incredibly portable. It can be powered by a DC adapter or its integrated 4000mAh lithium battery, offering maximum flexibility for practice, recording, and live performances.
However, Mooer’s site doesn’t show how much play time to expect from a full charge.
