Mooer Little Tank D15: The ideal micro amp?
Mooer’s new Little Tank D15 is one seriously small guitar amp, yet still manages to pack in 25 guitar amp models as well as cab simulations, delays and reverbs into its tiny frame.
Little Tank D15
The Little Tank D15 can output 15 Watts of power. It packs 25 guitar amps – all based on digital models – as well as a handy selection of 20 cabinets to choose from. The effects include 10 modulation types, 5 different delay models and 6 reverbs to choose from.
Flexible
I think you are getting a lot of useful tools in this small amp and if the thought of 99 programmable presets, an Aux input, serial effects loop (for external effects), a built-in guitar tuner and Bluetooth connectivity sounds useful to you, then this little amp could be one to check out.
Dedicated Controls
There’s a decent set of dedicated controls on the front: Bass, Mid, Treble, Gain and Master Volume. Above these is a set of four recall buttons, letting you access your four favourite presets quickly.
The Little Tank D15 is due out in April and you can check out the video below to get an idea of what it can do. Luckily, the guy showing us what it can achieve is Ola Englund, so expect some heavy guitar riffs! In the demo, he states how easy it is to use and for me that is a huge plus. I just want to get on and play, not study manuals and scroll through hundreds of menus.
I personally given the size of this amp it could be perfect for lots of applications, especially for players that are quite mobile and also still need flexibility for recording and so on.
RRP – EUR 235

The matching amp for the Gibson “Star Trek” V. Looks like it would be right at home on the bridge of the ‘Enterprise’. 🙂
My previous kidding aside, the demo by Ola has it sounding pretty gosh darn wicked, which makes me wonder if Mooer loaded it with some of the amp models from their “micro preamp” pedals?
