Musikmesse 2017: LunaStone TrueOverDrive 2 with just a bit more
The sequel to the TrueOverDrive
The new LunaStone TrueOverDrive 2 comes hot on the heals of the pedal released earlier this year at the NAMM Show, with a few subtle differences which let LunaStone append a “2” to the name.

This new iteration of the drive pedal has an almost identical look compared to the original, except that this one has a touch more gain on tap and they have added more low end to the bass response of the drive.
Ideally this Danish company will have listened to their users and responded by adding this new version of the drive pedal to the range.

The company has essentially moved away from the transparent nature of the original pedal and added more ‘oomph’ to the circuit and by adding this boost has given those of us that like a bit more gain, just what we need.
If they get it right, then I can see no harm in having two such similar drive pedals in their range, but does this mean we will now see a version with both combined? Or perhaps a third version at a later date?
Either way you will be able to check them out at the Musikmesse Show this week and make up your own mind on whether or not it was worth releasing another one.
